PIF 2O1O takes places at Monasterium Poortackere, a former monastery. Taken from there website www.monasterium.be :
A "divine" place where meeting is inspiring, dining is divine and the night´s rest heavenly. Behind the centuries-old-frontage in the city centre of Ghent you find an ancient cloister: PoortAckere. This neogothic monastery, a silent witness of a distant past (1278), forms today a unique location with several possibilities. The renovated church, de former ironing rooms, the retreat rooms, the Kapittel rooms and the house chapel lend their selves to several events. In the hotel and guesthouse you discover how neogothic and comfort in harmony goes together. And then there is also an excellent restaurant that found a dignified shelter in the authentic Kapittel room.Definitely a piece of heaven on earth...
