Information for oral presentations

Oral presentations are allowed 20 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. Bring all your files on a memory stick, so we can avoid switching computers. Available software includes:

• Powerpoint
• Acrobat Reader

Loudspeakers are also available for audio output. Please contact us if you have more specific needs (pif2010@ugent.be).

A member of the organizing committee will be available during registration and coffee breaks to assist you in uploading your presentation onto the lecture room computer. Please ensure that your presentation is uploaded well in advance of your session.

Information for poster presentations

The recommended size for posters is A0 in portrait orientation. A0 size posters will only fit on to the panel in portrait orientation, although A1 sized posters may be hung in either landscape or portrait orientation.

Poster sessions will take place on both days of the workshop, from 15:00 to 16:00. Presenters are encouraged to put up their posters before the lunch break. We will provide pins/thumbtacks for the posters. The poster boards are numbered. Please use the board which corresponds with the number your poster has been assigned in the program.
